Some dinosaur comic art for fun
Sometimes I hate drawing comics, I have to draw what others have written down, which means my ideas and desires are left at the door. Right now I'm working on a novel adaption that I enjoy but I still have to stick to the script. So every now and then I like to bust out and do something on my own. Thus this, pages 2 and 3 of a 7 page mini story. Thought the followers here might like it since it's got lots of dinosaurs!
Best,
Brett

Color!!!
ReplyDeleteLooks great! If those first two panels are the pre-leap of the masked man, it does feel like its missing a beat... the dramatic moment of the man in full flight, launching at the beast's snout.
Fantastic anyway...
Eventually, I'm waiting on a new copy of painter to show up.
ReplyDeleteThis is the classic redirect, starts off with the other dinosaurs and then the Kevin and the Baryonyx come through, we follow them on the next pages. You see the middle of the fight but not what started it, you don't find out about that until the end. I got a half naked guy fighting dinosaurs, can't be TOO cliche`;)

Brett
Brett, this is epic! If you will release this I will buy it. Kevin is the same from Acro killer pic?
ReplyDeleteHi Spartan,
ReplyDeleteIt's the same guy, there are more pictures on my regular blog. No more with dinosaurs, but some ancient humans:) Just hit Kevin in the key words section.
Best,
Brett
Great stuff with a fantastic sense of movement!
ReplyDeleteDoes your line work go on to be made a bit more punchy later in the process Brett?
I think your stuff is great but find it hard to focus because of the fine lines.
