Not sure of the exact species, but I'm pretty sure I heard somewhere that he was a Troodontid/Saurornithoid (sp?) of some kind.
Dave is a specimen of Sinornithosaurus, but I don't remember if it was a new species of this genus of dromaeosaurid or not...
